In fact the pagerank was increased on the same day on which our websites were removed from the index. The only doubt in my mind was there is no change in the Pagerank. It was clear that we have done something tremendously wrong that has lead to this Google Ban or Penalty on our websites.
So, it was confirmed that nothing is wrong with our website. The visits from Google were decreased from 900 to 57. So, we checked our website is another search engines, everything was absolutely fine and we were getting some visits from these search engines. The first thing that we confirmed here is to check whether our website is having any problem or not. Everyone searching for the information on Google Ban and Google Penalty, the whole lot of information was found and then arranged together. So, as the only option available with us to gather the information from internet, the search began. The only question in everyone’s mind was, “whether our websites are banned or penalized by Google?” This was the first time that we were facing such an issue, so nobody knew what should be done? Our superiors came to the office, the routine of meetings began. How we confirmed that our website is penalized by Google and not banned? It is only after this we will file the reconsideration request and would wait for the Google’s response. But, for this we need to correct all the intentional or unintentional SEO mistakes that we have committed to get top position in Google SERPs. We suddenly remembered the point "Until you correct the error for which the website is penalized or banned, Google will not consider the reconsideration request" (Google never tells what error we have done). Never give up attitude of SEOs is what is helping us in this stage. So, we are now thinking to get back our websites by sending the reconsideration (reinclusion) request.
May be the Google ban takes more time for reinclusion (reconsideration) or you may never get indexed again (there are some examples check by searching in Google), whereas index exclusion penalty may take some less time for reconsideration in comparison to Google ban or it has a more chance for reconsideration. So I thought, “What’s the difference between this penalty of Google and Google Ban?” -Still in the confusion. The only answer we got was to send the reconsideration request. We searched on the internet for what to do to remove this index exclusion penalty from our websites. We will give our try.īut, 2 of our websites still show the pagerank so there was a slight light in the darkness. It is very difficult to lift the ban on such a website, but not impossible. This means that our domain name is being banned (not clear about this). It is my advice to all SEOs to wait for few days if your website is deindexed from Google. It took around a month for pagerank to disappear even the link operator didn't show any results. We waited for some days, as we thought Google might be updating and we got the answer that one of our websites lost the pagerank. Index Exclusion Penalty is given only when you do something severely wrong that violates Google webmaster guidelines. Index inclusion penalty is most severe penalty of Google. Also, the Google operators links (link: was working so I was having some hope. I would say this because the pagerank of my website was still showing. It is the penalty that is similar to the ban, but not a complete ban. This penalty means that the website is completely removed from the Google Index. The only question now was, “how to remove the index exclusion penalty from our website?”
The day turns out to be black day for our company. From last 8 yrs we were doing good, but suddenly one day we receive this Index Exclusion Penalty and all the efforts goes in vein. It was the first time for us that our websites have been penalized by the Google.
